Hi all,

Welcome to the April category of the annual Photo Comp for 2014!

The theme for this month is "Malawi Cichlids".

Entries must be a photo of one or several fish native to Lake Malawi. The animal does not need to be your own. The photo must be taken by the entrant and should not be any wider than 1024px (photos will be reduced to that size if necessary).

Entries can be substituted if you get a shot you think may be better than the one you have submitted, as long as it is done before the closing date.

The competition closes 7pm 23rd of April and voting will be open until 7pm 30th of April.

Reminder: You must be a Club Member to enter comps and entries are to be anonymous (don't put a name on the photo). Please include the species name with your entry if possible. Do not ask others to vote for your photo - this is grounds for disqualification from the entire comp for the year.

Note: Please do not comment about an individual photo in the comp until after the voting is closed. We want to give everyone an equal chance, so all comments about individual photos will be removed.

hmmm, shame i sold all my malawis lol first comp i havent been able to enter, might have to go take a pic of my mates fish

Nothing stopping you from getting shots of other people fish, just make sure you get their permission <br /><br /><br />

I thought it was great, more funny photos is great idea.

Ummm I just got home and your post said it closed at 10 when I left Ronny. That means I cannot enter now?

Sorry, was my mistake, should have been 7pm like it was last month.
