Just joined today, brought my first Cichlids a few days ago with a 3 foot tank, 40 juvenile and adults and 30 Hongi babies.
Had my first tank, a 4 footer when I was kid and still got it. Between my son and I we have 8 tanks.
Thanks for looking.
Jeffrey

Thanks for the fast replies,

Live in high suburb so will never be directly affected by floods,
got some water up thru the ground level slab but thats all,
thanks for asking Barf. It's all over now, just the big clean up.

Yes Cawdor starting with 30 babies is good. Need to set up a just emptied 2 ft weed tank into a fry tank.
I'm not out to breed but this is what happens so will try not just to produce natural food for the adults.
Thank-you Sarah all's well in the family and no-body we know was affected, sure is a very bad situation
for those affected not only Qld but most of Eastern Aust.

Well finally got some photos together, only of the Cichlids, of course.
It's a 3 ft 135 lt tank, lost some fish mainly due to jumpers.
Mostly Hongi, Electric Yellows and Blues. One Peacock, lost its mate, and a few other odds.
The Pleco is now 160mm long, wait til he hangs off the glass to measure.
Have the black plastic background, looks half like a mirror.
The Fry tank is an old 2ft tank
Cheers
