Cheers Matty.

The light tube in it is 18W 10000K half white half actinic blue. I bought a 24W marine aqua one but both tubes are blue so I have to look for a 24W half white half blue tube.

These are the tubes that fit it.

If its an 18w ballast in the light unit (it will be if the stock globe that came with it is 18w) then you cant use those 24w globes. The ballasts are electronic and will not handle that......jus saying wink.gif

We can get you 18w power compact globes that are 50actinic/50white.....the same combo I used to have in my setup.

ok Ive just come back from the mines and im reading this, Please SLOW DOWN. For your pockets sake and for the sake of the inhabitants. But other than that nice also live rock doesnt need light to stay live. Its live because of the things that live on it and in it.

Light spectrums, you can quite successfully grow coral under 6500K globes, the reason people use atinic globes is purely for looks, The coral doesnt need atinic light there is enough in the spectrum of a normal globe.

Looks good. I'd probably get that flyscreen door out of there though... Doesn't look to water tight. tongue.gif
