#344999 Sold 720L Aquarium And Stand, Led Lights, Inline Filters And More

Posted by Jeff on 27 September 2015 - 01:34 PM

Hi Everyone,

$900 for Tank, Stand, All plumbing, LED Super Bright Dimmable Lights, 2 x Hydor Inline Heaters, Wave Flow, ADA Aquasoil blend

I've had this tank for just over a year.  It was formally Rovik's tank and he had it for a year and a half so it's 2.5 years old (built by Aquotix who guarantee 10years plus on their tanks).  It's drilled at the bottom on both ends and at the back so filters can be plumbed in with no unsightly hoses.

The stand is much older but not sure of age. It's still in good condition except for some slight swelling of wood at the bottom due to some water spills.  Comes with a hood all painted black.

Tanks
Dimensions (length/width/height): 150cm x 60cm x 80cm (Rear of tank painted black)
Glass Thickness: 12mm
Condition: Good (Some surface scratches from me being careless with cleaning. Not obvious unless looking for them)
Age: 2.5 years
Stand (wood or metal, bare stand or cabinet): Wood (Age unknown)
Lids: Yes

Pictures below were taken recently.  Crap lighting so reflections all over the place but you get the idea.

I can assist to get tank out but by no means will be responsible for any incident come moving time. Professional moving equipment highly recommended  for this beast. (I had two mates help and loaned professional suction cups and it was extremely difficult still).

Mobile number: Zero 422 one 98 005 (txt, call or PM on forum)

Cheers.

Is it so bloody hard for people to do a spell check these days? People are just getting way to lazy.

Are you too lazy to type an extra O?   :P

#323312 My New Tank (Rovik's Revived 760L)

Posted by Jeff on 04 August 2014 - 11:22 PM

Just thought I'd throw a few pics up of my newly acquired tank.  It's got a long way to go still but got fish in tonight after they've been in tubs in living room for past 2.5 days.

Picked it up Sunday morning with plenty of help from Rovik and his old man.  Cheers guys :) After a few phone calls to Rovik throughout the arvo to make sure things were set up correctly I had it two thirds full of water Sunday night with one filter running.

It ran for 24 hours but the water was still very black when I got home this arvo (from the ADA Aquasoil blend) so I drained it all and filled it slowly again which improved it slightly.  When empty it gave me a chance to arrange my driftwood and plants (not that you can see it yet).  I then got the big Eheim Pro 3 2080 (just fits) and UV clarifier running tonight before moving my fish over.

I'll post a few more pics when the water has settled down and I get my new lights as it looks like crap at the moment.

And still need to tidy up that mess of power cables on the right and plumb my drain through the wall :)

Should be right to start with.  You just never know how aggressive Americans will turn out to be.  They all can get pretty mean.

Caught my Americans fighting it out this arvo and caught it on video.

This GT is definitely more aggressive than my last.  Hoping he can sort out his differences soon :)

#309118 Big Thanks To Ollie And Staff At Aquotix

Posted by Jeff on 23 February 2014 - 10:37 PM

I wanted to publicly acknowledge the great help I received today from Aquotix.

Firstly to Patrick at Aquotix who answered the phone when I called all in a panic after I broke my Eheim Pro 3 2080. He suggested I bring in my broken filter to see if they could fix it (I was enquiring about getting a suitable replacement filter which they would have got more cash out of me).

Ollie then spent a good half an hour of his time repairing everything wrong with it and charged a very reasonable price.  I'm extremely happy with the great service and genuine willingness to help a customer.

Thank you very much :)

PS I then broke the impeller shaft giving it a quick clean when I got home and had to race back for a replacement!!  Such an idiot!  Haha.
