when retailers get in fish it is usually for 1/3 to 1/2 the retail price.
which means that because city farmers can get them for 300-400 dollars means that they will probably sell them for either 600-800 dollars or 900-1200 dollars each. and unfortunately it seems this way as city farmers said THEY can get them for 3-4 hundred, saying nothing about how much they will sell them for. so this price probably isn't accurate.
though it might be worth me getting an ABN for
"Elliot's tropical fish" and getting them wholesale. lol

If this is a goer, please put me down for 10. I can lodge a deposit direct to City Farmers account if you can vouch for them or to your account if the best way to cement the price is for one large order to be placed by you. Whatever way it goes, I can pay the balance the same way before shipment.
Many thanks on behalf of myself and all interested respondents for the opportunity.

I just now (9.15 Perth time) spoke to Kyle at City Farmers to get the latest. He expects an answer from his supplier today and will phone me and I will Post his reply. To quote "I had an enquiry from a young bloke (obviously Vishy101) last week and I made a few enquiries of my supplier and she thinks she can get them. Don't know price or quantity yet because it depends on the breeder and clutch size but she is supposed to let me know today and I will call you." Keep those fingers crossed!!!! We may yet owe Vishy101 a big debt of gratitude.
