Hi All,

I'm new to the forum, and I'm intrested in chatting to hobbiest who keep Discus. I have been keeping Discus for a few years. I have 12 breeding pair at the moment, but not all are in their own breeding tanks. I'm working on my breeding program ready for next years breeding. I have roughly 130 discus, with 14 tanks in operations. I'm expanding my Discus collection to be able to house specific breeds in the future.

Regards

Hi mate,

Welcome to the forum.

Have you done much/any research into it via the web or books?

If not, the following book would be a good start: http://www.aquariumo...uide-to-discus/

If you join as a PCS member you would have access to our library which has hundred of books.

Regardless, I'm sure you will find plenty of like-minded enthusiasts on here.

Feel free to send me a PM if you have any specific questions about the PCS or forum (I don't breed discus or keep them so best leave that to the pros).

Regards

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for the welcome. All information is valuable. I have done extensive research before taking on the Discus challange, email from breeders in Asia and books from America and of course the internet.

Regards
Andrew R
