G'day guys! Well, I walked into an aquarium store the other day, for the first time in 10 years(Aquotix)...and all I can say its great to be back. Currently reside in Dunsborough and always keen to learn a thing or two. When I was a lot younger, I was obsessed with cichlids, particularly rift lake cichlids. It all came to end when I met my wife, travelled, had a kid, built a house....and so on. Well guess what? Im back! I can't believe how far this hobby has progressed within Australia within the last decade! Congrats on a great site guys, it really is a hub for those interested in fish keeping. Looking forward to
being a contributor for many years to come.

So far this time around my collection includes some juvenile peppermint bristlenose and albino bristlenose which I'm hoping to breed from some day. I've also got a heap of dwarf snakeskin guppies and black bar endlers. I've got plans for a fronty tank, some l numbercatties and am particularly keen on tanganikan cichlids.

So, G'day from me and I'm forward to being a part of this great hobby again!

Will post pics soon fellas. Pretty basic setup, as im only renting at the moment. I'll be building a dedicated fish room as soon as our new house is built in Vasse. G'day Evil_Boof, good to hear your down this way too. What's your setup look like at the moment?
We're very limited when it comes to quality fish down this way. I make the most of it, and stock up when I'm in Perth. I'm keen to get in contact with any fellow keepers down this way.

This is my thinking too. I've decided to breed fish that are a bit "rarer" down here, so as to increase variety. I reckon it's about time that a dedicated, good quality aquarium fish store opens its doors somewhere in the bunbury/busso area. I think we've got the population to support one and its only gonna grow down here. Whenever I go to these "pet stores" it's usually busy in the fish section. Food for thought I guess.

South west pets isn't to bad, cant really compare it to aquotix and vebas ,they have done some big renovations recently and carry some  decent hardware and paraphernalia , price wise actually pretty competitive with perth shops, few different varieties of fish, not a huge selection but a few tangs in tanks these days.

The guys are more than happy to bring in what ever you want.

Yep, that's my go to shop at the moment. Congrats on the renovations, the tanks look great. Hope it's just the start of things to come.
