This tank started out as an all male Malawi Hap tank but after getting over 20 different species of haps in there everything was just too blue so I had to start adding in different coloured mbuna and peacocks to break up the colour. The fish range from 8cm - 32cm so it's still a work in progress but getting there. I think I'm up around 35 odd species and about 5 hybrids.
Not a pro on the camera but enjoy my fish photography and slowly getting better lol.

wow great looking fish...and your setup looks awsome

The Phenochilus Tanzania looks amazing...my favourite fish right now...just picked up 4 very nice males a couple of days ago...i think every display tank should have a couple of them.

thanks for sharing ...please keep the pics coming.

what is it with queensland...i am super jealous how easy it is for you to find the fish you want.

i am trying to organising a box being shipped from mount barker of pheno tanzania...because i want to breed them aswell but not having much luck...any chance there is some more where you got yours from...?

Haha I never said they were easy too find. I got lucky and brought all the fish available at the time. I was talking to the seller about shipping and told him people are screaming for tanzania fry interstate but he wasn't interested in shipping and lived a long way from the airport. I'll have fry down the track but will be a while yet before that happens. Have you tried Aquotix? I've brought from them before and they usually have a good range of fish available

Cheers Patto
There was 6 of us in total to lift the tank onto its 1 metre high stand. It's around 500-550kg in weight. I have some strong mates lol
