Any one have any recommendations for an automatic Ro top up system?
Even DIY systems?
After a clean tidy system to use, for my 2ft cube display tank. No sump either...

Thanks

funnily enough its Neakit. Yes I do use a osmolator. Cant recommend them enough. They are worth the dosh. Diy are nice but this is plug and play, if its setup correctly the first time its set and forget. All you need to do is top up the ro bucket once a week.

Vebas have this one, its a tad over the 300 mark but its the bomb. ( i have the sk181)

the other one is this

and the last on the list is this

I personally have a skimz and love it, the bm is great value for money and so is the marine sources. This is only my recommendation.

All though i just remembered you dont have a sump so you might want to look into this.

Deltec have a hang on skimmer that is spoken highly of , Reef octopus also have one too but they are known to have issues with spewing out micro bubbles.

got my ro unit from the reef shop years ago, im probably going to replace it soon. My biggest issue is im moving again soon so atm the only thing i have is a pair of clarkii clowns in a 36x18x18. Once the move is done and i have redone it all so there is no crap hanging off of the tank and it looks respectable i will give you pics. On another note im heading to port kennedy on saturday morning so i will be checking out the lfs there,

It's super easy, hang it on your tank or sump and connect it to a water supply!! Perfect! You could use them for anything! Mine runs as a gravity feed system and runs straight into my sump smile.gif
