Hi guys

Just thought I would share a couple of photos of my new Marine Aquarium. Thanks to the guys at Vebas for doing up the tank and sump.
The Tank is a 4x2x2 with a 3x18x12 sump. I am using a redsea Turbo Protein skimmer and a Pondmaster 5000L/hr pump.

Have some live rock in it now and am looking for suggestions for the best corals to start with, and those to avoid.

Tony

soft corals work well, stay away from the small poluped stoneys, just make sure your lights are up to supporting life.

Looks great tony! Some corals to start with could be things like Xenia, cataliphilia, morphs, torches and ancora. Depending on what sort of tank your aiming for smile.gif what is the plan for the tank mate?

The two things are return pipes. The Lights aew two 50/50 150W LED pannels.
I am aiming for a reef tank with mainly soft corals.

Thats an awful lot of light for the size of your tank, they will support even the most hungry of corals. just be careful you may burn your corals if they are too close to the water or left on for too long a photo period. For the first 6 months focus on getting your water chem right and keep the nutrient levels down.
