Breeding:If you manage to get a male and female oscar, breeding is fairly easy, after spawning they will deposit the eggs onto a flat rock. Both the male and the female Oscar will guard and care for eggs and fry,oscars can have hundreds of babies in one hatch and it is advised that the babies are feed on newly hatched brine shrimp
Feeding Habits: Oscars will happily eat ANYTHING that fits in there mouth, It is best to use a good quality food (NLS etc.) as there main food and frozen foods such as beef heart as a snack. It is NOT advisable to feed Oscars live food (as some are in the habit of doing) as they do not contain much goodness and carry a risk of bringing in Disease.
Compatibility: Fine with most other American cichlids, as long as they are bigger than its mouth
