Hi All, just had to post up that i got one big fat multi from one of my hosts (Victorian Hap. Sp. 44/Thickskin) last night. I've had 5 or 6 mouthfulls so far and let them hold for about 21 days before stripping, each time i got heaps of host fry which i am growing up as future hosts. Last night i thought i didn't want any more host fry for now so i stripped 2 hosts that had been holding for about 8-10 days, one had about 20 fry and one had one big fat multi baby, was the funniest sight seeing a 4.5cm hap spit out a 1.5-2cm multi. I was going to strip last weekend, but seeing as i hadn't had any multi fry i didn't think i was in any rush, well i guess if i had stripped last weekend i would have a few more multi fry.

One question i do have is what to feed the big boy? I have given him flake/brine shrimp/blood worms so far... Anything else they particualarly like...

Thanks...
Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Nice find, congrats :good

Haven't kept multis myself but sounds like he's getting a good mix there.
Some of the multi breeders here may have other suggestions??

Thanks Tammy, well he's still kicking and has a nice round tummy, so he's liking what i'm feeding him...

If youv'e got any more week old mouthfulls you don't want put him in a lightly airated icecream container (watch water quality) and check out the growth rates feeding him them.Your other diet should be fine.
Regards Chris
