No comparison.

Yeah as a feature I agree but an eel would be a great compliment to an oddball tank.

Anything else unusual getting about?
Some great stuff through LFS recently.

Benno - this is a new male.

Nah still have all 10 bass, the Perth market is absolutely flooded with them. Most are well in excess of 30cm. Some nice big males amongst them too. Should pull the add down I am not all that keen to sell them anymore, in the last month the colours have exploded. If I can keep my water quality up with 10 bass and can get them to coexist, could look amazing in about 6 months time.

I had a bit of a mishap this morning, fed a food item that was too large, if one of the big boys ate it it wouldn't have been an issue but the smallest female got it. I had to catch her out and remove it from her mouth by hand, good opportunity to get a real measurement She went 28cm. She is the smallest of all the bass, so I can safely assume that the two biggest males have hit 40cm. Goes to show my eye ball sizing of fish is way off, I would have guessed her to be 20cm and the bigger males maybe 35? Need to get my eyes checked.
