Hi all,

I was going through the forum I used to write a lot while I was in Italy, and we had a topic where everyone could show a few pictures of their tank, with a brief description... the topic was pretty cool, there was load of pics of tanks and "ideas" for people that were about to start a new tank and didn't know what type of aquascape they wanted to place in their tank.

I thought we had one on PCS, but can't find it, so I guess we can just start a new one!

Please Copy and Paste, then EDIT the following:

TANK SIZE:
FILTRATION:

LIGHTING:

FAUNA: (fish)

FLORA: (plants)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll start! (use mine as a Sample if you like)

TANK SIZE: 910 L x 300 W x 230 H (mm)= 62 litres
FILTRATION: Behind 3D background: Prefilter sponge, Black sponge, Crushed Coral, 400l/h pump

LIGHTING: Nemo Light, 54W

FAUNA: So far only 2 Borneo Scooters (Gastromyzon Borneensis), I will add some shrimps that come from the same area as the Borneo scooters later on.

FLORA: Anubias nana wedged into a snail, some Monte Carlo which I don't think will grow, some Riccia Moss, and PLENTY of algae :)

I really wanted it on the Kitchen bench, but I had to find an agreement with the girlfriend, so I got a little open stand where we can still fit the fruit under and not lose the bench space.

Pre-filter detail - only water flows through, so I don't lose fish in the background

Spraybar detail

--------------------------------------------

Your turn! :D

TANK SIZE: 8'x3'x2.5'
FILTRATION: Sump. 4'x2.5'x18". One chamber filled with Japanese matting (one whole sheet, cut to fit) and the next 50L of K1 media. There is also an internal powerhead in the display for extra circulation. This will be revised very soon with a series of wavemakers as to best manage waste and suspended particles.

LIGHTING: 2x Beamswork 48" LED units. These are ebay cheapies but I am happy with the light they produce for the most part and were cheap as chips.

FAUNA: 10x Peacockbass (C. monoculus), 1x Snakhead Gudgeon and 3x FW Stingrays

FLORA: None
