So much work in to that and im trying to picture the end product.

I know you said you didnt use Co2 previously... are you going down that track this time? or will you do it the same as before?

Probably no more updates till nxt wednesday or so i reckon,

just waiting for the tank to settle, some of the plants are melting, others are going like nuts,
still waiting on some bulbs to get all the lighting going, Probably let it grow for a week or so before adding the fish,
plus i still have to build the custom shrimp safe intake (4000LPH capable) and custom exits to suit the weir.

after the fish are added, i need to find serious cash to build up the cleanup crew.. meaning at least 300-400 shrimp probably 500+, thinking 30-40 ottos, but i won't add them for a month or more until the biofilm/algae is sufficent to keep them alive, need to chase down a group of 30 pygmy corys, and probably 10-20 corydoras hasbrosus.

I have about 150 fish ready to go in from the old tank as well.

unfortunatly planted tanks like this, especially moss based don't happen overnight, (stem based tanks you can kinda have a instant fix) I reckon three months before it starts to really get going.
Still undecided if i will go the CO2 Road, the tank will be fish oriented, so most likely will stick with liquid supplementation, as high oxygen levels are more important than plant growth.

Well Finally have a Update,

has been a few ups and downs, considering getting rid of the lilioepsis maybe,

been through a few algae woes, but it's a new tank so was expected, it's starting to subside,
accidently overdosed excel last week, the HM got a bit upset and melted off slightly, but is coming back now,

still many more fish to add, and hundreds more shrimp as funds allow.

managed to get a decent photo of my male Liquorice Gourami,

tank is doing ok, but i have alot more work to do, and changes to make, it's really only been running properly for about 5 weeks now.

I'd say around the 4 months mark it will be looking fairly good, I hope to keep this tank running for at least a year.

Tank is coming along great!

Let me know if you order those shrimp from where I think you will smile.gif If you're interested in splitting some postage costs that is.

its been awhile, the tank become a bit of a jungle and a mess there recently, so earlier in the week i pulled a bucket of plants and moss out of the tank, trimmed everything back, so should be ready for another tank shot in about 2 weeks, in the meantime here is a few photos to keep you amused!

Thanks
Juls
