Scientific Name: Lethrinops longipinnis
Pronunciation: Leth-rin-ops long-e-pinn-us
Trade Name(s): None
Distribution: Deep water, down to 100mtrs
Habitat: Sandy & Muddy areas.
Diet: Invertebrates.
Sexing: Males have dark barring.
Females are silver.
Maximum Size: 15cm
Temperature: 24 to 26c
pH: 7.5 to 9.0
Water Hardness: 300-400ppm
Availability: Very Rare In Oz
Comments: This is one of the deep water Lethrinops, they also havea deeper body than most of the species. Not much is known about the species as they are very rare in Oz.
