Moulting Crustaceans

In a week I thought I had lost a shrimp, two crabs (I didn't know I had) and a hermit crab.
Seems they have all just done a group moult.. Mass moultings.
Is this a sign of good or bad water?

Happens a lot to marine aquarists (I also fell for this years ago). Generally a good sign as the animals are growing etc, shedding there skin. Generally calcium riched waters aid in growth and shedding as the outer shells of most crustaceans are made from calcium based elements, so sounds like your parameters maybe all good and stable (still carry out testing to see where the tanks at)

Acataully in regards to the Hermit Crab. Am I assuming they are like their land dwellers and I need to provide shells for them?
