Hello,
I spotted these fish called "gold Half beaks" I think the gold is just the coloration given to this species. All i can find is that they feed like barracuda and prefer brackish water.

Has anyone heard or even kept one of these fish before? Also how do i get my water "brackish"?

So same as my barramundi and black bream, We add salt and they get happier. Fish that are at the mouth of a river ?

yeah thats it.

Some brackish fish are hard to breed cause they like to go from fresh to salt or the other way round to breed and the fry some times are bred in fresh water then float down steam to the ocean then once they have grown go back up the river and start all over again like my mono,s

Some brackish fish when kept in fresh water seam to do ok but when you put them in brackish water they colour up and seam to be happer.
