Hey all,

Well I have been reading about breeding small plecos and was wondering if separate D caves are better or can you have joined ones? (Like those slate caves with multiple compartments). Do the plecos prefer their own space or does it make no difference?

Thanks

It doesn't matter to the fish, but i prefer singles, as there easier to remove with out disturbing the others.

does matter to some fish - singles are the better option... gives you the control of how close you put them - some males will fight to the death if they can see another male in a cave next to them... eg albino l/f b/n :)
