Looking for Swan River Gobies... either ill buy them off an enterprising sort that knows where to catch them or I will catch 'em myself if someone can tell me where on the Swan is a good place to scruff them.
Willing to pay: bugger all.
I want them for a frog pond roughly 500ltrs.
Please reply by PM.
Cheers,
Paul

When we went to the swan for the fireworks there were plenty. We were at McCallum park right up near the swan river trust place, and there were also tons and tons of jellies and baby bream
Just search up on maps swan river trust

agree, almost every permanent water body in the sw, close to me i have found them in lake coogee and market garden swamp but im guessing the salinity/alkilinity there would rival or surpass the swan.Seen them in every river from the moore river to the south. The moore and the murray close enough for a trip out in the bush with the kids and might be easier water parameters to match/adjust or follow johnos tip and go up river. OR give me some time and with a little effort and some luck/learning i will be able to throw you some desert gobies. Depends on what else you want in the pond, they are greedy buggers, expected/desired that they ate endler fry and inverts didnt expect them to smash bn fry! pulled dad and cave full of wrigglers yesterday so it didnt happen again

Damn it Shayne! I was down the murray river last weekend I was secretly doing recon for a kayak trip under the guise of a "family outing".
Kids loved it, im trying to convince my wife to come camping down there (I need her there to babysit while im kayaking).
Might be better off going on my own to see what I can find.
