The guy i bought it off had it filled for a while, i could see as the water green as and it had mosquito larvae in it, he said he used to keep oscars in it, but i just measured the glass thickness and it's only 6mm!!!! how the hell is that possible? lol, I took pictures of the tank and bracing, the cross brace is 10mm, he only had it filled to the 2ft high mark but still how was the glass not bowing?

4x2.5x2.5 will be fine for a motoro till it gets to around 35cm disc then it will need more space to swim, stingrays are great pets definatly not as hard to look after as sum people make out
ive had a adult pair of monos in a 5x2x2 before and they spawned so whoever said you cant hasnt had much experiance in exotics imo
but 6mm on a 4x2.5x2.5 does seem a little scetchy

Investing a lot of money in fish like these and kept in a tank outside may be a lot of work to keep the temp right. Also real expensive over winter to heat.

I ended up building a two tier stand with the top 1810x850mm and the 4x2.5x2.5 on the bottom, a 4x18x18 tank behind the stand as a sump, but now thinking in selling the 4x2.5x2.5 and putting the sump at the bottom, as i had to spend a lot on the stand I can't afford any of these fish atm, so gonna get some Geo's and other smaller Americans, l am getting glass for a 1810x850x750 LxWxH tank hopefully next Tuesday, Maybe gonna build it myself or find someone who can do it for a good price.
