Heya

My neighbours say that Veba's was a backyard operation in Willeton waaaaaaaay back when they were children. They grew up in Hamilton Hill and are now in their 50's so...

Regards

I used to go to the backyard shop 10 odd years ago. I think it was in Palmyra? Not sure. They had big cement ponds with goldfish and axolotyls and had just started keeping marines. And they used to sell Newts which i havent seen for sale for ages.

vebas has moved around heeps and harry hasnt been the only owner.

I know he did sell vebas one time at an extremely high price, the new guy couldnt run it and sold it back to harry for almost half of what he bought it.

it went from willeton, to palmyra, to near leighton beach, to everywhere.

Jordan i remember going to the backyard in palmyra a few times was pretty good for the days i think the only fish shop south of the river maybe.... not sure on that.

I think it wud be best asking harry himself maybe 'Vebas' can give a nice storey on what happend would be very interesting to see how he has come from nothing to glory.
