G'day Steve,

tried this some time ago, but not currently.(got too attached to fish to eat them)

used the white IBC for ponds(about 800litre) and plastic tubs for vege grow beds with the expanded clay for growing medium.
The tubs where over the IBC's and water pumped up to them to allow gravity to filter the water through and clean water to fall back to IBC.

Worked great, kept Barra during summer and trout for winter therefore natural temps used, no heaters. If well fed can achieve edible sizes per seasonal change.

Grew many types of vegies and received much shorter growing times until harvest and great taste.

cheers
