Yeah, that's why I keep the fry in a styrofoam fish shipping box so that the temperature stays stable and the humidity caused by the lid being on also helps with keeping temperature stable

What kind of tolerance do they have for change?

They don't have much tolerance to change, and say if you want to move them from the breeding/ first week bucket to their grow out, and the temp in the breeding/ first week bucket is 26 and the temp in the grow out is 24 you would need to try get it the same as what they are already in, and float them for like 5 hours

Update!!!

So I bought the fry a grow out (113l Bucket) and plumed it so my RO system drips in and the plumed hole overflows water out. It is sitting on my desk, the fry are not in their ATM, but will go in tomorrow. The heater is in their and it is heating the bucket to 26 degrees, but I'm gonna bump it up to 28 when the fry are in their. I will also be adding peat in a bag so the ph can stabilise, and my sponge filter. Btw to overflow has a mesh across it to prevent fry from going out.

Thanks Angelo :). It's my first attempt with the fry, but 5th attempt at spawning. Did you manage to raise any to adults? And what were the problems you faced when raising them?

unfortunately i didnt raise any fry to adults so cant answer your question. i ended up using most of the fry as feeders :( will surely give this a go sometime soon.

thanks for the pics, great shot of the little fry and awesome colors already.

how are you gonna grow out all the fry? once they get color dont they become agressive towards eachother?

how do you seperate and heat 200 cups? what put a 300w heater in the bath tub and float 200 induvidually numbered cups in there so you dont get confused when doing waterchanges?
