I'm sure this topic has been hammered - I think I have Rams and there numbers have gotten out of control - they are in my planted shrimp tank but not convinced that the fish mentioned here wouldn't eat the shrimp - also i'm pretty sure shrimp don't tolarate copper - I could move the Cherry Shrimp to a new tank and put Tandanus in there or the other fish mentioned I could buy

Quote - I added some Rams and some YoYo loaches a few months back and they seem to be keeping on top of them. But they aren't eating the shrimp that are in the tank which is good.

Try dwarf chain loaches. They work in my tank and dont get too big.

All the rams horn snails in my tank just suddenly died after i missed a water change a month or so back (did my back in at work and could barely move) I was dosing dinosaur spit pretty heavily to combat some alage aswell. Maybe that had something to do with it. Its active ingredient is a medical grade steriliser that breaks down in water over time into organic carbon that is useable by your plants.
