My filter has been quite noisy for a few weeks so I thought id check it out and give it a clean. Found this:



Anyone know who our sponsors are that stock aqua one gear?

A common problem with these as they have used cheap plastic. I've had to change mine twice in about 6 years, the crack causes it to wobble resulting in noise. It just goes to show you that you get what you pay for as my Eheims are 10 years old and are still going strong with no problems.

Yep definitely a cheap bit of gear, but i got the filter for free with a tank i bought, full of colonised media. This is the first money ive spent on it :-)

I've bought spare Aqua One parts from Aquotix. All fish stores will have an account with Aqua One. I don't have any Aqua One equipment any more though
