The biggest sellers in any LFS are Guppies, Angels and Gold fish. They outsell everything else several times over

if your talking cichlids , your spot on , yellows would be the number one seller for the newbie to cichlids

:o Yeah there are a few thousand little B/N floating around the fish room at the moment mrseby. Has been a good Summer for them, has not got too hot for too long and they haven't slowed down much.

However, when I am really up and going (no holidays in hospital) I sell more guppies and cories than B/N :good

Goldfish by far out sell anything because they are such a hard fish to keep (apparently).

If we are talking cichlids would be angel fish.

other fish that sell well are gouramis, and guppies and neons.

B/nose easily most popular catfish

Heya

Another good question is: what fish is in highest demand?

By the look of the forums lately I would say the Peppermint Bristlenose (Now known as Ancistrus dolichopterus, not A. hoplogenys.)

Regards

BT
