So I've got what I thought was a "brown ghost knife" see picture 1...
Today on lunch break I dropped into midland aquarium...cause shopping for fish on lunch break is the way to go!
Anyway, I stumbled past this knife fish that looks different to my knife fish... But labeled the same.

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on the difference between the two...and if I can have them both in a tank xD

First photo is a 'brown' black ghost knife (Apteronotus albifrons) and the second is a brown ghost knife (Apteronotus leptorhynchus)

Main difference is in the head shape.

I had an argument with a guy at the fish shop recently about the same thing.

The guy was saying the leptorhynchus is the same as a black ghost knife just brown lol.
