Who took the picture of the L001 Gold Spot Pleco ? It is very hard to find pictures of them on the internet biggrin.gif

I am buying one soon and that gives me a good feel for them biggrin.gif such beautiful fish, thanks to who ever posted it.

Sorry, Nicholas, I cannot reveal the photographer's name until after the competition finishes. This is so voters are not influenced by knowing who the photographer is.

Please read the "Announcement" at the top of the page.

It states quite clearly that entry is for Financial Members only, but anyone will be able to vote when the comp' has closed.

Shane,

I think your confused.

Only financial members can enter their photos in the competition.
Once the competition is closed (mid october) a poll will be created & every user on the forums can vote for the best picture - this includes you shane.

The most popular picture as deemed by the public will then recieve the $$$.

arrr ok cheers Daniel for clearing that up knew i couldnt enter and by the time i get my pictures developed from my disposible 35 mm camera it would be to late and payed my membership. any way i think number 11 is the hotest pic so far. keep up the good work guys and keep the pic,s comming

I think before voting begins people should also be reminded that this is a photo competition, not a fish show. So voting should be based on how well the photo looks (sharpness, colours, placement of subject, creativity etc) rather than the subject alone.
So for example a perfect photo of a goldfish *should* beat a blurry photo of some super-rare-stunning-whatever fish.

Just a thought.
