That cabinet does not look very strong for the weight. 

 

Lovely discus though.

Hey mate, do you have lids on yours? Because I was unsure whether the water evaporating would effect the ceiling

HI David .

 

No lids... Its autoamtic top up...My ceiling seems fine and its in an open plan room and airconditioning.

I really like the look of an open-top tank, and the driftwood exposed out of the top is very nice too.

Those new additions are exquisite! What are the discus in the first pic?

That cabinet does not look very strong for the weight.

 The Cabient was designed by an engineer. So I think think it should be ok... It can hold upto 6 tonnes.

Perfect discus aquarium, I have been lucky enough to see this in person and it looks even better than the pictures.

 

Very nice discus you have coming, will all 6 be additions to your tank?

Yes all 6 will be going in my tank.  Going to sell some of my discus that are in my 9 foot to make room.
