Hi leory,
Welcome to the salty side of fish keeping......
I get my RO water from Vebas, same price as salt water, otherwise Totally Tanked in Kenwick does it to if thats closer.
Many benefits from RO water, so good choice for deciding to top up with it!
Jules.

No LFS sells RODI water, but some sell RO water at least. If you want RODI water give some printing businesses a ring as some require RODI water to run. Buying a unit to do it at home will pay off eventually, just make sure you get a commercial grade one.

To me RODI is a waste of money, RO water is more than enough.
As long as you keep good water quality, your tank will do just fine.
get PhosGuard or phosphate reactor (phosban) to control phosphate level.
I have no algae growing in my tank, my phosphate level is 0.06-0.08, only using RO with 3 stage filtering.
Use RODI if you are going keep acropora super healthy

If you do decide to purchase your own;
Depending on your tank size, it might be more convenient for you to purchase your own (I did). Peter at PSI Filters is a great bloke and will give you all the advice you need. This is the one I bought (Clicky)
Replaced the filters once but havent had any problems in over 2 years.
I was putting in 20L a day so it paid for itself in a matter of months. Darren the Fishdoctor http://www.fishdoctor.com.au/ does SW and RO Water Deliveries if you wanted to go that way too.
