But seeing your edit the tank is too small

The 1 metre tank is just for now I have a 6x2x2  in the shed I just pick up. for down the track

also My wife has one in Thailand (red in colour awesome fish)  so she knows  what she needs

Thanks for the warm welcome.
apart from the gravel I have put in some lime stone in one corner and just today I have put in a few peacocks to cycle the tank
we both like the African cichlids
and are keen to know which are compatible together?
we both hope to learn and yes It will be great to purchase fish of other members
