Fish Sleep Time?

28 April 2013 - 10:46 PM

Hi all we are still cycling our new tank (6x2x2) 3 weeks now we have some limestone made into caves 2 mm gravel on the bottom 6' T5 fluoro with duel switch (2xwhite 2x blue) and my wife insisted on some ornaments (thanks pet magic I think?)
we both like the Malawi cichlids
our starter fish are
3 x peacocks
3x electric yellows
My query is about rest time how much rest do the fish need at night? (lights out)
should it be at sundown (as nature intended) or when fat cat goes to bed 7.30pm or???
all else is looking good ph.7.9 changed 25% of the water on Saturday
thanks
Paul&Nucci
PS this was pic was take at 9pm I turned on the blue light for the pic then turned it off.
