It has generally been my assumption that there are little to no cichlid breeders up North of the river and minimal Cichlid Hobbyists compared to South of the river.
This may only be my opinion.
Im looking a poll to set things straight.
If you are dedicated could you please include your suburb so we can see how much a diffrence more north and more south effect the poll.

i think you have it the wrong way around... about 80% of lfs are north... you must be from the south.. oblivious to the rest of perth.

I wasnt really asking about fish stores. I just wanted to guage private breeders and hardcore hobbiests. I thought this thread/discussion topic saves people asking what suburb people live in over and over as it is published here.

I grew up in the north and now live in Como. I like to think I'm north of most of the river 
But now I'm moving back up to Marmion. The water up there is alot more alkaline because the majority of it comes from the Gnagarra ground water reserves rather than the dams.

We are from Joondulup. We have have been breeding fish for about a year and a half and we are doing pretty good. (want any fish anyone).
