Nah that's the 2nd photo in thread but labelled No.1 Bowdy (I didn't include the tank photo in the numbering).

No.2 is Neolamprologus tetracanthus Hooton.

LOL why do u say that? Actually the Tropheus have been running a muck. Noticed the leptosoma have had their tails chewed since I mixed them in together.

That Tropheus is a mpulungu aka Moops.

i just ask because i still want to get tropheus, but I keep getting told that it's not a good idea in my current set up
they are a great fish to watch hey.

the tetricanthus can be angry mothers, i have one male, in his old home he killed his missus, apparently didnt like the way she swam, he has dug a massive hole in my display tank which is mostly malawi but some tangs as well and hes pretty angry in there

I was watching 2 electric yellows diggin a pit in my tank last night. They were circling each other for ages too. Pretty cool watching fish behaviour

Any idea how to sex them? Had the same thing happen to me and I assume I'm left with the male.

Yeh turned out well hey! Was originally going to use in my TB tank for decided against it as the wasted space the background creates would've been a negative for them.
