I believe the Guys at Seaview Aquariums did they always make great tanks and cabinets and at a great price aswell to go with it.

Anyway it will be a nice setup once its all together Mat.

Very nicely done... not often will people sump their freshwater tanks... biggrin.gif

BTW, are you gonna add a background? If so, maybe do it now before the tank is full of water etc...

Craig- thanks mate. almost there. will have it filled by tonight and some fish by next weekend.

Kevin- well i went all out for this one. and i dont think ill put in a background, one because the wall behind is white and will show of the fish and two i dont have the money for a universal rock B/G at the moment lol

You need background!... and a plastic/wallpaper one will do the trick.

Nice tank smile.gif

Matt, you have a very nice setup there.. but honestly mate, put a black background. This will contrast your tank quite nicely! A simple plastic one like what cichlid_hunter mentioned will be ideal! they're only a few $ a metre! I insist on a black background!!! biggrin.gif

Also, are you gonna "mesh" your return outlet? The reason I ask is that I don't want your fish swimming into the sump/return pump, especially when power goes off because there's no flow to deter them from swimming into the return outlet and into the sump/return pump.... smile.gif

BTW, a white wall "might" make your fish colours appear washed out... wink.gif

Cheers!
Kevin

the only problem i can see with a black background is not been able to see the fish, considering my fish are black haha

Then use the "blue" on the other side of the plastic background! sheesh! tongue.gif

But honestly bro, any background is better than no background...unless you're using the tank as a room divider, which you're not.. smile.gif

Here's something for you to think about: it is much easier to remove a background THAN adding a background to a full tank!!!... wink.gif

If i was in your shoes, i would spend a few bucks and add a background NOW and then when the tank is full and i dont like it, i'll spend 5mins taking it off! tongue.gif

it can be tricky to get one on the back of tank on outside when its full too.. especially if in a corner
