I did this on my forum & forgot to post here, so the posts will be a little out of date to begin with smile.gif

Well it hasnt started yet, but the slab is going down next Friday and then 2 weeks later shed will be going up.
Its going to be a 4x3 in the same color as the house.

 Shed - $1090.00
 Skylight - $90.00
 Installation - $265.00
 Concrete slab - $600.00

Color - Classic Cream Walls / grey roof & trim
Hinge door on LHS

And this is the area where it is going:

It will be going along the fence on the left of that pic.
I was going to put a drain in the centre of the slab & put a soakwell in, but have decided I would rather drain the water onto the garden that way I'm not wasting water.
Will put more pics up as I go. wink.gif

7th Oct:

Slab went down today...
Not long now, 2 weeks until shed gets installed...

Looks small sad.gif

8th Oct:

I had to go and water the slab today, I was hoping it was going to grow with the extra water, but no luck sad.gif
And Im now thinking I should have got them to make the slab rough so it wasnt slippery. Oh well, maybe the next slab laugh.gif

And a shot of Jasper checking out his new home

28th Oct:

Shots from today:

I got 2 IBC's a couple of weeks ago and forgot to think about how the hell I was going to get them in the shed until I got home, So I had to go through the side..

16th Nov:

Well after NOT being able to see my fish properly in the garage, I decided to pull my finger out and do something about the IBC's and getting them in the shed.
So as you may know I couldn't get them in through the door, so I either had to lift the shed over them (too hard) or pull out one wall... so this was tonight's outcome:

Start:

One panel out:

One in, one to go:

Both in:

Both in place:

All the foam put back inside ready for Thurs:

And finished:

Looking good Az. I like the canister filter holder upperer in the last pic hehe wink.gif

What's the heat transfer like through the clear sheet on the roof like? I really wish I added some natural light to my shed.

Hey Daz,

LOL yea its great smile.gif Only tempary, those top tanks were a little cloudy so the canister was there to do a job smile.gif
I find the skylight fantastic, the amount of light it allows in is amazing, no more lights on during the day smile.gif
I also found the heat not too bad, one of the IBC's is under it as is a 3ft tank both were at 24c today, All day, I may cover during Winter as I may lose a little heat that way. Will have to wait and see, Why dont you get one installed now?

Nah I will get some foam on it soon, I bought some glue that was meant to work but guess what????? It didnt, well it worked for one sheet hahah anyway I will come up with another way soon.
The missus wanted the garage back so it was a rush job to get the shed up and running, for a rush job I think it turned out AOK wink.gif

Thanks for the comments guys wink.gif

I saw a clear whirly bird that also acts a skylight. Might be worth a shot.

That was the idea, also didnt want too much of a gap so heat could stay in a bit more wink.gif
