Can I Use This Wood In An Aquarium?

And here is what I trimmed off the grape vine:
Question: can I use this in an Aquarium? If so, how do I make it safe to use in an aquarium? I was considering soaking it in a big tub of water, then drying out in the sun, and repeating that a few times. Would that work?

The vines are softer than the actual base wood. It might work but you will need to soak it and dry/bleach it. It would require you to take the thin bark off first. It may go slimey if you dont dry it completely then re-soak it for a while with some bleach.

Just zap with pressure cleaner then soak and it should be fine IMO

I'd just soak it for a bit.
If I wanted to debark it I'd use a knife.
Why in hell do you have a grape vine growing?

I have tried rosemary however could never get rid of the scent after lots of water changes so gave up on it.

Free grapes! They're really yummy too! Better than the sprayed crap you get from the supermarket
