I was having a look through other posts about the onset of banning Grey List species from Australia and this got me thinking.
I am planning on moving to the NT within 10 months and am keen on taking some of my more prized collection with me.
6x Frontosa's
4x Severums
1x Oscar
I went to their government site

and started to read through the Noxious and Banned List for the NT, the usual Noxious species are there, then I started to read through the Banned list, first on the list, Astronotus Ocellatus - "Oscar", I though ok, no worries, I'll have to give up my Oscar "Ted", he's been with us for years and I'll be sad to see him go.
Then, 3 down the list, Cyphotilapia frontosa!!! My Heart Sank, I cant believe that I have to give up my colony of Frontosas.
Why the hell are Frontosa's banned in the NT, of all the other Cichlid species....Frontosa...Whyyyyyyyyyyy
I wrote them an email..........not an angry one, just want to know why!

I am having to sell my large Pleco as he is now too large for the tank he is in and I dont want him in any of my larger tanks.
He is a Common Pleco and he tips out at 14" long. He is in good form and not aggressive.
I got him at 11" for $150, I am now asking $250, do you think this is too much?
Take into consideration to where I live, the pilbara, and fish "out of the norm" are not common up here, hell if it isnt a guppy or a goldfish then it will be pretty hard to come by!

Im coming to Perth in Late August and will be looking for
2x Burundi Frontosa - 6-8cm
4x Alto. Calvus
and
4x N. Leleupi
Juvies or Sub-Adults will be good
The Closer you are to Mt Lawley the better it is for me but I can travel a little farther out if I have to.

I have 13 Issues of "Practical Aquariums & Water Gardens" Magazine that I dont need (Doubles)
This was a popular Australian Magazine some 8-10 years ago.
Very similar to the new line of magazine "Aquarium Keeper Australia"
I have issues 8, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28.
I also have extra copies of issues 22 & 24.
I came across these when a mate left town, I already have the whole collection so I have no need for them.
They are all in good condition and I'm asking $30 for the whole lot. They were $5.95 each when in print.
So for just over 2 bucks an issue taking into account postage, Id say thats not to bad.
I thought I'd give you guys first dibs before it goes on Ebay.
