So Ive been out of the game for nearly 2 yrs and Ive been seeing a new type of food on the market "New Era" Ive been told its as or if not better than NLS.

Is anyone using it and what are the results?

I swear by NLS but am interested to know what peoples thoughts are on the new stuff, I haven't tried as yet.

If you can ignore all the chest thumping and rooster measuring, this thread has some interesting information

Wow Man I Remember The last thread About This Was just Pages And Pages Of People Bashing On One Or The Other

From What I Know The Nls (That Im Using Currently) Is Good Stuff But The New Era Rift Lake Greens/Reds Are On My Pickup List As Ive Read Some Good Stuff About It.

I know a few people who swear by the New era cichlid green pellets. Personally because i dont actually have cichlids the food im keen to try next for my bristlenose is the HBH algae grazer and the hbh super soft spirulina. Only products I've seen with soirulina as the main ingredient..

My water quality has been better with New Era, it doesn't give of the powdery dust that the NLS does, there for the canisters are a lot cleaner. Both are good foods but i give the nod to New Era because of the moisture factor.

Thanks for the info Peeps.
I'll have to try both of them.

The HBH algae wafers are great, well worth giving them a try.

Azza I've been feeding the big mofo new era pellets to jack for about 3 months now, his poo is now solid white logs instead of red dusty slimy crap, I feed half as much as i used to and hes looking awesome.

More than welcome to come for a beer next time you're in the area mate, i'm not far from Aquotix :)
