Good luck with the next batch kylie, if you get really keen you can try stripping the eggs and tumbling them smile.gif there's a video guide on how to strip your fish and you could probably make yourself a tumbler as well smile.gif

I know my malawi cichlids i had fist took a few to get it right, it could be there not getting fertilized by the male so shes just eating them. Dont stress they must like where there living so it wont be long and she will be trying again..
just like humans there is no guarantee the first time will work, plus she had to be well fed otherwise that will happen(even tho it is proven that they can eat a little bit while holding) so just keep watching.
Plus water changes help spark the breeding

I doubt that Kylie, as few breeds can't go full term with out a water change so i dont think it was that at all

You'll start seeing the underside of her jaw go darker and fatter as the fry mature, I usually strip between 18-25 days smile.gif

Good work.

Once a female has some experience at holding fry/eggs a water change wont bother them at all. They will become quite resilient. Moori I found found to be great mums when they get to know what it is all about.
