15 May 2009 - 10:47 PM

Hey everyone,

Currently have a 5x2x2.5 Malawi setup (It also contains has 3 x featherfins and 2 x clown loaches)

Was thinking about keeping the featherfins and loaches and swapping the rest out with south americans.

Does anyone have any suggestions and availability?

Fish I like so far from browsing pics;
A.heckelii ?
Satanoperca Leucosticta ?

Need Help; Parasites

14 February 2009 - 04:03 PM

I have recently (in the last month) installed a pond and have now in the last week got what i think are anchor worms in the water! They look like a small worm like creature with a forked tail and head about the size of a pin head.

Can someone tell me the best/cheapest way of getting rid of them? The pond is close to 1800 litres.

I just read that potassium permanganate will kill them. 2mg per litre. does this sound right? where can i get it?

thanks

Pete

If Anyone Is After A Pond...

18 January 2009 - 06:55 PM

Hey just to let everyone know, there is an aquarium/pond place that has recently opened up in Gosnells.

A week ago I shopped around for a pond and paid $535 (after a 45km drive) and later went into Gosnells aquariums to find the exact same one for $100 less! If you are in the market for a pond, definitely check them out.

Their address is 2316a Albany Hwy Gosnells, Opposite Gosnells police station.

hope this helps someone

Pete
