Hey everyone,
I have the chance to get a 2 tier setup of either 5x18x18's or 4x18x18's. I want my (unbreeding) Electric yellow colony to go in one and probably some C.Afra cobwe( told ya so steve!) in the other. I would go for the 5 footers any day but then there is more money involved and more work for me to clean them.
So, please post up what you'd do in this situation with these fish in mind
Cheers

of course the 5fters would be better although there is definatley not the need for those fish to be in that size tank. So if u want the cheaper option go with the 4fters because i think this will be quite large for the single colony of each and they would be fine and happy in this size tank.
Although the 5fters would be your best option if u would like to change your mind later down the track to a different sp. which requires a larger tank.

Hi Cort,
4x18x18 will be fine for a smaller group of each in that size tank - about 10 of each??? - but a 5'er would be better all round and for further down the track as Lee said but if the money is an issue, then go with the 4's. They will be fine
As for the extra cleaning .......... that's just outright lazy
