how many of us fish keepers have learnt some good lessons you'd like to share.....

just recently someone lost their job when business changed hands and the new owner/manager didnt re-employ them because of a childish facebook disagreement years ago... which really was over nothing anyway.....

Don't burn your bridges or valuable people around you ?,,,,,, Which seems to be the thing these days...
Every situation in the fish hobby versus bussiness shops,,,, when it comes to "identify first then deal with", the first thing that must be considered. (Is this person going to still be in this years from now)...

All those people that come and go,,,, I certainly know who the long term standers are,,, these ones shouldn't be lost.

Don't think you can't ever learn something from someone. Even the most inexperienced beginner can come up with the most brilliant idea

Don't listen to Hawks supporters, their run has been causing a case of over inflated expectations that are sure to be deflated!

Never think your position is infallible, no matter how good you are at a job there is no longer the surety in employment there was in the past!

Everyone is disposable!

Learn new things, be flexible, don't be an asshole!

Promote your strengths and if you don't know something, learn it or bullshit your way through :)

One life lesson for me is to always try and be positive
If you have the mind set that all people are good (unless they prove otherwise) you'll be happier
Might sound a bit new age hippie, but this has worked for me

Now who wants a hug?

Ha ha, you guys, I see it a touch different to that,, the world only presents its self to you the way you choose to be in it (excluding illness) in a general sense.
Those that constantly think into the future are regarded as cautious.
Those that constantly tweak the present, to alter the future for a desired outcome, is called a bussiness man or a natural engineer of ones future.
It must be understood that the perfect balance in life off all things is essential (between work and private) if you seek true happiness.
The balance is up to you to look deep within and engineer yourself a life regime to target your desires or goals.
Unfortunately the thing called procreation puts the human himself herself second to offspring or naturally sways this way,,, once one devotes part life to raising children, you basically become a jack of all trades master of none.

Those that live a seldom life like myself,,, I can expertise in balance, health, happiness and fun.

A person full of mental energy, full of physical energy, and is generous as well as wealthy, shows interest in others welfare both privately and bussines, complete honesty with all cards out on table regardless how bad the news......
When people see this very very rare occurance,, the best and most intelligent of people are drawn to this,,, and what for ??,, to compare notes.
The happy and successful people of this world are like smokers forming a hang out recreation group club every smoko at front of the office building,,, a secret club.

Those that possess passions in life, that are life long engrained, lead much more for filling sustained lives.

Now don't get me started on the chemical reactions involving brain responses. Very messy stuff,,, I studied up on this not long after my mate with bi-polar tried to hang himself from a 4 story building but the cheap rope snapped and he cracked his head open on the concrete and his eye brow healed back with one half lower than the other,, almost fashionable lol.
The brightest happiest outgoing person through school turned to crap once responsibilities in life as a older person occurred.

Great guy my mate Buzzy,,, wouldn't know he's like this when he's not,,, my mate Buzz,,,, got his stuff together now though, met a tops bird that deals with his crap with understanding and they've had 3 kids together,, and tell you now, he really needed it.
Together with this family balance and good meds, he's as good as gold,,,, meds making him fat though,, and his bi-polar mother died of stomach cancer due to meds,,,

im a firm believer if you always tell the truth you never have to remember what you lied about......

and another

it doesnt matter how much you polish a turd -- a turd is always a turd.....

and one more

when you discover the person you have always known is indeed not a lion but a leopard... you have learnt the leopard will not change its spots....
