Hi,

I have a 147.5cm tank and it is 47.5cm deep.
I have found a suitable stand on gumtree for a reasonable price but I am unsure of it as it is 1500mm by 530mm.
Would this size difference put strain on the structure?
Here's a link to give you an idea of what it looks like:

Cheers.

no structural things will be affected :) just look ugly, just incase, check inside the cabinet and see inside up the top for extra support as i think that looks custom built

I'm beginning to think I should custom make one myself, I don't like the non-flush look either.

Cheers.

no problem although you could slide the tank to one side and sit an airpump or so in there? :)

I've had a think about it and that stand just wouldn't suit my tank, look wise.

Cheers
