you must be very close to the desal plant... all the water sources are networked in perth so depending where is the greatest demand for water your local supply could alter significantly.... bore water (aquifer) , dam water , desal water are the 3 main sources... huge demand north of the river for water will drag more water from south supplies to the north, and vice versa if theres a big demand south of the river north water supplies get dragged south...
so if your living somewhere in the middle your water could be 7 ph one day and the next 8 ph.... and tds levels will change as well.....
im in mundaring and last time i checked 350-400ppm tds.... has been higher and also lower over the years....

use a good water conditioner (like prime) and toss your RO unit in the bin - advice from a top local catfish breeder whose been breeding in perth tap water for over 10 years with fantastic results - breeding 2 species of L's no one else in australia has achieved among lots of others....

Im SOR, in Seville Grove, 130 ppm with around 7.3 - 7.4 Ph, I know the TDS never use to be that low here but now it is, I just bought a heaps of Apistogramms to take advantage of the Low TDS
