I'm no sure this is under the right forum - so apologies if it's not!
I've started a small planted tank (28 L) using the dry start method. It currently contains Eleocharis parrulus (hair grass) and Hemianthus callitrichoides (HC, or dwarf baby tears) and after adding water I am also going to add Ceratopteris thalicroides.
My question is regarding CO2, and whether I need it. I realise the advantages, but for a 28 L tank it seems a bit of an over kill.
So will a liquid form, such as Seachem Flourish Excel be sufficient? Or are there other brands that work better?
Thanks in advance!
