just wondering if any one can help me what would be the cheapest and best way to light up a four foot tank for plants and what globes do I need.would like to try baby tears and others.

I assume you won't be running co2? I have a link somewhere on lights by tank depth - will see if I can find it.

Mine is 2.5 ft deep and I use a t5ho (high output) flourescent lighting with co2. Cheaper outlay than LEDs but do have ongoing bulb costs.

worx led working great for my tanks not too expensive got mine form techden :)
