Topics I've Started

Fs: Planted Driftwood Plus Free C02 Booster

11 April 2014 - 06:30 PM

I have a nice healthy piece of wood with Bolbitis and java fern attached,

The wood is around football size and the majority is covered in bolbitis.

Also a healthy standard java fern on the side.It has been grown under very low output lighting and is well established over a year old.

Im 99% sure it contains NO snails but as my other tanks do contain snails I cannot guarantee it.

I'm only selling it because it has outgrown my tank.

Would look fantastic in a nano or shrimp tank etc.

PM your number if interested and I will TXT pics.

$50ono

Will throw in half a bottle of API C02 booster (473ml)

Fs:l333 Adult And Juvies

27 February 2014 - 08:24 PM

FS: I've got some L333 juveniles to sell if anyone is interested.

3-4.5cm all nice healthy fish

$40 each or good deals on multiple buys.

No pics.

FS: Also have a 9cm L333 male to sell or swap

3yrs old and I've grown him from fry.

Nice looking fish.

Reason for sale is too many males in the colony now. He has to go.

PM for pics

WTB: Im also after an albino longfin male and a common longfin female.

Open to swaps for any of the above.

PM me please.

hi can these be put in with peppermints and common bristlenose catfish? or cichlids?

thanks

Mole Crickets

Is there anyone on here that can help me rid my place of these things?

They sound like frogs and come out in the hot weather at night. They decimate the lawn and garden especially the vege patch to the point where its hardly worth growing your own.

There is a bit of info on the net but most is in the U.S where they have been forever. They are only a fairly new species in Aus as far as I've read.

Most people in my area think that the noise they make is frogs as it sounds so similar.

If its nasty chemicals I need to use then that's what I'll do. :(

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Fs: Two Tanks On Steel Stand.

04 November 2013 - 06:47 PM

I bought this from Rovik earlier this year and I don't have room for it at the moment.
Here is the link for it.

Since I purchased it I have added a marine ply bottom shelf and another tank built by Aquotix.
The bottom tank is 76x41x45cm 6mm sides, 8mm bottom. About 6months old and in perfect display condition.
comes with lids. The top tank has a few scratches but it has all been resealed just before I purchased it so structurally like new. I also have lids for the top tank.

The setup comes with enough gravel for both tanks, two large sponge filters, two heaters ( 150w aquaworld and 100w jager)
and a couple of thermometers. Basically all you will need to run it is an air pump. I can throw in a few meters of air line.
No Lights come with this setup.

I've just cleaned it all up today and its ready for pick up
$300

Pay the full amount and I'll throw one of these in for free.

Good condition, comes with reflectors and plant tubes.
