I work for WWF-Australia and am on a break from my job as a Wetlands Conservation Officer for a few months. I get to work with private landholders in the Wheatbelt on threatened species conservation until the end of March and then back into wetland conservation around the Peel Harvey area. I've been focusing on species including the Western Spiny Tailed Skink, threatened trapdoor spiders of the Wheatbelt, red tailed phascogales and black flanked rock wallabies.

Although sometimes it doesn't really feel like work

I am WA manager for AGB nielsen media research. We do the TV ratings, so I look after the installation of the black boxes on peoples TV's and collection of the Data to Sydney. A great job where I meet a lot of different people, especially so when I meet up with a fellow hobbiest and can chat about fish.
